There is a lot of noise in the marketing world and in order to remain competitive and be noticed you must present yourself properly. What does this mean? Apart from websites, creators and companies having brands, you as a person too have a brand. How you represent yourself on social media for instance, what can people expect to see from you. That has to do with your brand. It is important to purge out any old profiles of you and have anything that is up to be clean and updated. Once you have a personal brand although we are constantly evolving its important to remain somewhat consistent, and don’t post anything that doesn’t represent your true feelings or interests. An example of this would be having a health blog and encouraging people to eat healthy but then promoting an appetite suppressant candy that is dangerous and not healthy mentally or physically. Stay true to yourself and what you believe in. Keep everything you post short, simple and to the point and make sure not do overdo the hashtags as they can come across as tacky. Make sure your usernames and emails are professional. The username brandilovexx is not professional, something like breemurrary1999 would be more appropriate. When it comes to profile pictures they don’t have to be perfect but at least make sure they are of professional nature and good quality. Make sure not to get in arguments online over twitter for example it looks bad in the moment and likely will never disappear forever. Remember that what you post on the internet will stay on the internet forever.
